Diagnostic Clinics
No autism diagnosis yet? We've partnered with trusted diagnostic clinics in Maryland to help your family get the answers you need.
Why a Diagnosis Matters
An official autism diagnosis from a licensed psychologist or developmental pediatrician is typically required by insurance providers before authorizing ABA therapy. A diagnosis also helps our clinical team design the most effective and targeted treatment plan for your child. If you don't yet have a diagnosis, we're here to guide you through the process.
What an autism evaluation involves
What happens
A caregiver interview about developmental history, direct observation or play-based assessment, and standardised instruments. Sometimes one appointment, sometimes several.
Ask for it in writing
The written report is what your funder needs to authorise ABA. Request a copy rather than accepting a verbal result.
If the wait is too long
Diagnostic waitlists here are the most common reason families are delayed. Ask us about options with a shorter or no waitlist and we will make an introduction.
Ready to take the first step?
Tell us about your child. We will take it from there, including checking your insurance at no cost.
